DIY: Modern barn door for $40
How we missed this when it first appeared on Apartment Therapy back in February is a mystery, but what’s not a mystery is why anyone would want this in their home: modern sliding/barn doors are an awesome alternative to regular doors-in-a-frame or even just casement openings; they add an instant level of architectural interest and are cool and functional, to boot! This Apartment Therapy contributor claims to have figured out how to make it for $40.
At that price, you’ll be able to make a few for your home, and because this is a custom door for your place, you really are in control of its size, color, heck even shape (maybe not shape).
